Company Summary:

Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. is a chain of domestic merchandise retail stores in the US. It operates several stores in the US, Canada, and Mexico with headquarters in Springfield, New Jersey. Bed Bath & Beyond is named among the Fortune 500 and the Forbes Global 2000.

Warren Eisenberg and Leonard Feinstein was working in managerial positions at a discount store chain named Arlan’s. As the company started to decline, the two believed that the market would shift towards specialty stores, which made them decide to leave and start their own company. Bed Bath & Beyond was established in 1971 as Bed ‘n Bath. Eisenberg and Feinstein were operating 17 stores in New York and California by 1985. They also opened their first superstore in 1985 as an attempt to remain competitive with other brands. To properly represent the size increase in their retail stores, they changed the name to Bed Bath & Beyond in 1987 and went public in June of 1992.

Bed Bath & Beyond is as passionate about making sure their people have everything they need to succeed as they are about their service for their customers. Several competitive benefit packages are provided to the qualified employees to assist them in their daily lives.
