Company Summary:

The history of Graphic Packaging International, Inc., GP can be traced back to 1805 which are the days of Nicholas Appert who is considered the “Father of Canning”.  It was in 1817 that Paperboard was created. The company is a descendant of Coors Paper Packaging, a packaging arm of Coors Brewing Co. that was launched in the 1970s. Coors acquired two flexible packaging operations and adopted Graphic Packaging name in 1988 and then in 1989 they officially merged into the Graphic Packaging Company.
