Fortive is an American diversified industrial technology conglomerate company with headquarters located in Everett, Washington.  Fortive became a part of the S&P 500 after being an independent incorporation.  The company controls 20 businesses in the areas of field instrumentation, sensing, product realization, and transportation, among many others.

Fortive was a spin-off from Danaher in July 2016.  Mitchell Rales and Steven M.
