Ball was founded in Buffalo, New York, in 1880 as the Wooden Jacket Can Company, by Frank C. and Edmund B. Ball, two of the five Ball brothers. As the company started. The three other brothers joined them in the company in Buffalo. The Ball brothers later renamed the business as the Ball Brothers Glass Manufacturing Company in 1886. It was later renamed to the Ball Brothers Company in 1922, and became a publicly traded stock company in 1973 as the Ball Corporation. The company has expanded and diversified into other business ventures, which include aerospace technology. Ball became the world’s largest manufacturer of recyclable metal beverage and food containers.

  4. Continue to move forward until you get to your account.

New Employees – Register / Enroll:

  1. Visit ballbenefitscentral.ehr.com in your preferred internet browser on your device.
  2. Select the “Create Account” link found beside the login details on the page.
  3. You will be asked if you know your Ball work email or any personal email address registered with the company.  
    1. If you select “Yes”,
      1. Type in your Email Address in the space provided.
      2. Type in the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number in the space provided.
      3. Enter your Date of Birth in the space provided in this format: mm/dd/yyyy.
      4. Select the blue “Next” button to proceed.
    2. If you select “No”, you will be asked if you know your Employee ID.  
      1. If you select “Yes”,
        1. Type in your Employee ID in the space provided.
        2. Type in the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number in the space provided.
        3. Enter your Date of Birth in the space provided in this format: mm/dd/yyyy.
        4. Select the blue “Next” button to proceed.
      2. If you select “No”.
        1. You will be asked for your Social Security Number and your Date of Birth.
      3. If you do not know your Email Address, Employee ID, or Social Security Number, please contact the numbers indicated on the first part of this article for assistance.
  4. Continue to move forward and provide every important information that is asked of you to create a new account online.

You will be directed to your account details where you may start to manage or review as soon as your registration has been successfully completed.
