They are made up of a group of members and caregivers who share the same goal. The Member Advisory Committee meets during the year to review member materials and hear feedback. The committee also looks at new programs and changes. After meeting, they let Aetna know how they can improve their services.
Want to join?
To join the MAC, you must be a member for at least 90 days. You must also be willing to attend meetings in person or by phone 4-6 times a year. If you attend meeting in person, Aetna provides transportation at no cost. If you are interested in the Member Advisory Committee and want to be a voice for your community or if you have any questions, call Member Services. Plan members, providers and representatives join to form the Member Advisory Committee. They will use your opinion to make the program a better experience for all.
